My Dirty Little Secret...

So here's a scenario. You're standing at the cash desk in Topshop about to spend another £50 that you don't have and you are doing everything you can not to make eye contact with the sales assistant. I don't know why, it just feels better that way. Like the girl behind the counter knows it's this or your bus fares for the week and If you don't look at anyone they can't guilt you with their eyes (is it just me that does this??) Anyway, you have just entered your pin and are praying that your card doesn't decline when you hear "Can I just say your hair is amazing??" Obviously you have to make eye contact now. So you blush and say "umm thanks" and just as you look up you are met with the most amazing eyebrows. Yes, eyebrows. Not really sure if it's socially acceptable to say "Oh my god your eyebrows are amazing, I'm so jealous!!" You pull a half in awe and half don't say it face, grab your bag and run.

Yes this really happened and yes her eyebrows were really that good. However is it ever ok to compliment a strangers eyebrows?? I couldn't help feeling like it would come out  like I was either taking the piss or just frantically trying to think of a compliment to give her back. You probably can't understand why I would ever pay that much attention to eyebrows but they are my favourite part of a girls face. And yes, it is odd.
How ever as long as you don't find yourself screaming "I LOVE YOUR EYEBROWS!" in a strangers face you can probably just about get away with this strange obsession. Right??

Tattoos, Teacups and Trains

I love this time of year, and no it's definitely not because the clocks go forward an hour tonight :(
It's because its nearly the end of the holiday entitlement for the year and I always manage to have a cheeky week off. As you know I started off my week in Edinburgh, where I seem to be spending all my time.
Saturday was a bit of a blur.. but I had the best lazy Sunday. Does anyone know about Movie Bank??? This was a new concept to me and I love them! You basically swipe into a little shop that's open 24hrs where you can pick from literally thousands of DVDs (and videos...I love a good tape!) Just check them back in when you're done and your pre-paid Movie Bank card will be charged. Genius. Just so you know we rented The Last Song starring the one and only Miley Cyrus and we cried our little eyes out! Monday was my friend Allans birthday and because it was so sunny we decided to make the most of it and went for cocktails on a rooftop beer garden. We then went out for dinner and ended up at this amazing little bar where they serve cocktails in teapots and cups and saucers! So cute!
On Tuesday I went to Glasgow to see some friends and to shop (I will share my purchases with you later!) I met up with my friend Courtney and we went to see Liam Neeson's new film Unknown. It was pretty average, he's a bit of a bad ass, there were some explosions and then he falls for a girl. However the girl just so happened to be Dianne Kruger who I have a little bit of a crush on, so that made up for the bog standard action!
My friend Sarah also came down for a few days to get a tattoo so I've added a picture of her getting it done. She was such a big brave girl!!
So that was my unplanned week off :) It may not of been the most exciting week but my body definitely appreciated the lie-ins and I loved catching up with friends!

I apologise for the awful google pictures, I am still without camera!

Just Your Regular Saturday Night...

So as I mentioned before my wonderful friend Allan decided that the theme to his 22nd birthday party would be "Keshas Big Fat Gypsy Wedding" So this Saturday after a very busy day at work I jumped on a train to Edinburgh to get my trash on! It was hilarious and the perfect start to my cheeky weeks holiday. So here are some of the best, or should I say worst, dressed of the night.
Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Ombre All The Way

Ok I'm doing it. I'm going to ombre. And when I say ombre I mean proper ombre none of this "I'll just put some blonde through the ends" I may be a bit late with this trend but it took a while getting my hair to the colour it is now because i'm so naturally dark. So I've been a bit reluctant to change it.
When I text my hairdresser tonight I swear I could hear him let out a sob. I'm very lucky to be blessed with thick hair (like can't get a brush through it, takes 4 hours to dye hair) Great to look at but it's really crap for anyone that tries to tame it.
Here's a photo of me before, fingers crossed I turn out looking like Drew. If so, you'll get to see a lovely picture. And if it doesn't work there's gonna be a lot of photos of me in hats...

M.I.A

So my camera is broken.
And the worst part? I didn't do it! I very lovingly let my sister borrow it for her friends birthday and someone sat on it. So no snaps for me :( Obviously to make up for my great loss I shopped...
And since I'm feeling so very guilty for being such a neglectful blogger I thought I would share a few of my latest purchases.

I LOVE the fringed cardigan, and the leopard print dress was reduced to £20 from £80 at Urban outfitters! I wasn't sure about the feather earings at first because they are huge but I have a "Ke$has big fat gypsy wedding" themed party on Saturday (more about that later) so at least I'll have an occasion to wear them.

Let me know what you think!
